Thanks for asking about Western Hills. I have been attending since 1996 and found this to be a very loving group of believers. The church family is very warm and open and accepting of all.
WHUMC has three services on Sunday: 8am traditional, 9:30 contemporary, and 11:00 traditional (full choir and robes). There are several small groups to help fill your needs and there are many opportunities to help in the Community (Sidewalk Sunday School in Westway, serving at the Opportunity Center, etc). There is a very strong Prayer ministry and several Bible classes offered through out the year. The church also has a satellite ministry, The Ridge, which meets at Hut Brown Middle School at 10am Sunday whose purpose is to help grow God’s Kingdom on the westside.
