Women’s Bible Study

The purpose of this group is to nurture and support each other and to reach out to others. The group is designed for women who seek to grow spiritually through Bible study. On February 10, 2010, the group will begin a 12-week study of Old Testament Characters. The meetings result in an open and caring attitude which freely allows laughter, experiences, questions, opinions, and personal needs to be shared. Women of all ages are invited to participate.

This small group is for women seeking an in-depth Bible study while forming supportive friendships. This study of the Book of Romans will be a chapter by chapter exploration of this unique epistle, which is a thorough examination of the basic beliefs of the Christian faith. All you need is a Bible (a good study Bible would be helpful) and a desire to know more about what being a Christian really means.

Single Ladies’ Luncheon

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

The UMW is a supportive group of women who enjoy fellowship and support missions. The UMW General Meeting meets the first Tuesday, every other month at 9:30 a.m. in the Narthex. Programs include Bible studies and informative programs about local missions presented by members and guest speakers. Devotions and fellowship are integral parts of each meeting. Service projects focus on the Opportunity Center for the Homeless, Lydia Patterson Institute, and Houchen Community Center, all located in south El Paso.
